Inevitable
A 48 hour game jam developed in Unity. Theme: Inevitability
Place tiles on the grid to prevent your tile holder from filling up. Tiles shoot balls in the direction the arrows point, breaking down tiles - plan your placements carefully in order to set up large chains to wipe the board clean.
As you level up, the game speed increases and piece placement gets more difficult. With loss being inevitable, how far can you make it up the chain?
Controls
Left Click on an open grid spot to place the current tile.
Right Click to swap the current tile with the bottom tile in the stack.
(You can place tiles back to back, no need to wait for tiles to stop shooting)
Custom graphics/code with SFX and music from https://gamesounds.xyz/.
Please Enjoy!

I'd like to invite this game to our contest, the Game Development World Championship! First of all, the idea is really great. It takes some time and skills to learn to use the swap feature and generally think quick enough to not lose immediately. I liked both the visual style, which is very clear and also the selection of music.
